Tóm tắt
Khung năng lực giáo viên ngoại ngữ đã được triển khai nhằm hỗ trợ giáo viên nâng cao năng lực giảng dạy, đáp ứng yêu cầu đổi mới giáo dục. Tuy nhiên, mức độ nhận thức và áp dụng Khung năng lực giáo viên ngoại ngữ của giáo viên ngoại ngữ tại Việt Nam chưa được đánh giá đầy đủ. Nghiên cứu này tìm hiểu mức độ hiểu biết và tự đánh giá của giáo viên về Khung năng lực giáo viên ngoại ngữ, cũng như tác động của các chương trình phát triển chuyên môn đối với họ. Tham gia nghiên cứu là 30 giáo viên tiếng Anh từ các trường trung học cơ sở và trung học phổ thông ở Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long qua hình thức phỏng vấn sâu. Kết quả cho thấy tất cả giáo viên thường xuyên tự đánh giá năng lực chuyên môn, nhưng nhận thức về hướng dẫn và quy định Khung năng lực giáo viên ngoại ngữ còn mơ hồ. Hầu hết giáo viên thấy các chương trình phát triển chuyên môn có tác động tích cực nhưng thiếu tính thực tế. Nghiên cứu đề xuất việc áp dụng chính thức Khung năng lực giáo viên ngoại ngữ để đánh giá năng lực chuyên môn của giáo viên ngoại ngữ hàng năm song song với các văn bản hiện hành.
