Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm mục tiêu khảo sát kiến thức sử dụng insulin của bệnh nhân đái tháo đường típ 2 điều trị ngoại trú đang sử dụng insulin và tìm hiểu một số yếu tố liên quan đến kiến thức sử dụng insulin của đối tượng nghiên cứu. Qua khảo sát trên 145 bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán đái tháo đường típ 2 có sử dụng insulin được điều trị tại Phòng khám bệnh ngoại trú, Bệnh viện Trung ương Huế từ tháng 4/2025 đến tháng 7/2025 cho thấy: Tuổi trung bình của bệnh nhân là 63,71±12,53. Tỷ lệ nữ (49,0%) gần bằng tỷ lệ nam giới (51,0%). Bệnh nhân mắc đái tháo đường típ 2 từ 5-10 năm và 10 năm cùng chiếm tỷ lệ 35,2%. Thời gian tiêm insulin 1-5 năm là chủ yếu (46,9%). Phần lớn bệnh nhân có kiến thức sử dụng insulin đạt chiếm tỷ lệ 65,5%. Trình độ học vấn, số mũi tiêm insulin mỗi ngày và việc kiểm tra đường máu thường xuyên là các yếu tố có liên quan đến kiến thức sử dụng insulin của bệnh nhân (p<0,05). Trong nghiên cứu của chúng tôi, bệnh nhân có kiến thức sử dụng insulin đạt chiếm tỷ lệ khá cao. Nghiên cứu cũng chỉ ra bệnh nhân có trình độ học vấn cao, sử dụng phác đồ insulin với số mũi tiêm phù hợp và kiểm tra đường máu thường xuyên thì kiến thức sử dụng insulin tốt hơn.
