Tóm tắt
Bài viết này được thực hiện nhằm khái quát các kiến thức cơ bản về kiểm toán môi trường và chỉ rõ hiện trạng thực hiện kiểm toán môi trường trên thế giới và tại Việt Nam. Trong bài viết chúng tôi đã tổng hợp các thông tin, dữ liệu từ 40 công bố khoa học của các cá nhân, tổ chức trong và ngoài nước. Bài viết chỉ ra rằng kiểm toán môi trường là một công cụ quản lý môi trường đã được nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới ứng dụng và triển khai. Ở Việt Nam, kiểm toán môi trường đang từng bước được thực hiện và cần thiết phải đẩy mạnh trong thời gian tới.
