Ba động từ “帮”, “帮忙” và “帮助” có nghĩa từ vựng khá giống nhau, song có sự khác biệt về cú pháp và ngữ nghĩa. Trên cơ sở Kho ngữ liệu ngôn ngữ trung gian tiếng Trung Quốc của sinh viên Việt Nam, bài viết phân tích hiện tượng nhầm lẫn khi sử dụng các động từ này. Kết quả cho thấy, tỉ lệ nhầm lẫn của ba động từ này từ cao xuống thấp lần lượt là 帮忙 > 帮 > 帮助. Trong đó, quan hệ nhầm lẫn giữa “帮” và “帮忙” là nhầm lẫn song phương, quan hệ nhầm lẫn giữa “帮” và “帮助” cũng là nhầm lẫn song phương, quan hệ nhầm lẫn giữa “帮忙” và “帮助” là nhầm lẫn đơn phương. Sinh viên xuất hiện lỗi nhầm lẫn là vì chưa hiểu rõ sự khác biệt của các động từ này trên bình diện cú pháp và ngữ nghĩa. Ngoài ra, chuyển di ngôn ngữ tiêu cực cũng có tác động nhất định đến lỗi nhầm lẫn của sinh viên.
