Tóm tắt

Sự tăng trưởng của du lịch góp phần quan trọng trong việc tái tạo và phát triển kinh tế - xã hội. Du lịch diễn ra trong môi trường nên sự phát triển bền vững của nó phụ thuộc vào chất lượng môi trường. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm cung cấp bằng chứng cho huyện Phong Điền trong việc thực thi các biện pháp nâng cao chất lượng môi trường du lịch. Mẫu nghiên cứu gồm 154 du khách và đáp viên được điều tra bằng bảng hỏi. Thống kê mô tả, kiểm định độ tin cậy thang đo, phân tích nhân tố khám phá và hồi quy đa biến được sử dụng để xử lý dữ liệu. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, môi trường du lịch ở huyện Phong Điền được tạo thành bởi môi trường du lịch văn hóa, kinh tế - xã hội và tự nhiên. Chất lượng môi trường du lịch ở địa phương chịu sự tác động với mức độ giảm dần từ chất lượng của 3 loại môi trường trên. Môi trường du lịch văn hóa và tự nhiên được đánh giá tốt, trong khi, môi trường du lịch kinh tế - xã hội chưa được đánh giá cao. 6/17 thuộc tính của chất lượng môi trường cần được cải thiện. Nghiên cứu này đóng góp đáng kể về lí thuyết và bằng chứng trong lĩnh vực môi trường và chất lượng môi trường du lịch.
