Hoạt động hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp là một trong những nhiệm vụ chính trị quan trọng của các cơ sở giáo dục đại học hiện nay. Trường Đại học Khoa học - Đại học Thái Nguyên là một trong các đơn vị đi đầu về các hoạt động hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp cho cán bộ, sinh viên. Đến năm 2022, trường Đại học Khoa học đã có nhiều hoạt động hỗ trợ và tiến tới xây dựng Hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp trong đơn vị. Bài viết này có mục đích làm rõ các hoạt động đẩy mạnh hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp góp phần nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, nghiên cứu và xếp hạng tại trường Đại học Khoa học hiện nay. Với phương pháp nghiên cứu tài liệu, phân tích tổng hợp số liệu thứ cấp, quan sát, nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra việc đẩy mạnh xây dựng kế hoạch thực hiện các đề án của Chính phủ về khởi nghiệp; đẩy mạnh hoạt động tạo cơ chế chính sách hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp; hoạt động đào tạo, tập huấn về khởi nghiệp; hoạt động tổ chức thi ý tưởng khởi nghiệp; hoạt động tham quan, tìm hiểu các mô hình khởi nghiệp tại trường Đại học Khoa học. Kết quả cho thấy, đẩy mạnh hoạt động hỗ trợ khởi nghiệp đã tác động tích cực đến nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, nghiên cứu và xếp hạng tại trường Đại học Khoa học hiện nay.
