THE DRUG INFORMATION NEEDS IN VIETNAM UNIVERSISTY OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE AND TUE TINH HOSPITAL

Abstract


Using the interview method by the designed questionnaires to determine the drug information needs of students and lecturers at the Vietnam university of Traditional Medicine, medical staff and patients at Tue Tinh hospital from January to March 2024. Data research was processed using Microsoft Excel 2016 software, variables are expressed by quantity and percentages. A total of 219 subjects participated to interview of the research sample, including 137 (62.6%) students, 32 (14.6%) lecturers, 30 (13.7%), medical staff and 20 (9.1%) patients. Drug information about indications, contraindications, dosage, dosage adjustment was 69/137 students, 16/32 lecturers, 16/30 medical staff and patients answered 18/20 desired comments. receive. 75 (54.7%) students, 20 (62.5%) lecturers, 18 (60.0%) medical staff and 9 (45.0%) patients rated decongestion as valuable. The form of direct drug information that students (51.1%), lecturers (53.1%), medical staff (40.0%) and patients (80.0%) want to receive. Drug information expected to be answered immediately (< 30 minutes) is 115 (83.9%) students, 28 (87.5%) lecturers, 17 (85.0%) patients. Nearly 100% of respondents in 4 target groups were ready to send drug information questions.
