Construction traffic routes through the National Park, the Reserve to develop transport and tourism have been implemented in many countries, including Vietnam. The formation of the route has brought many positive effects, however, the negative impact of the construction process of the road is almost not mentioned. The route from the tourist resort Tam Dao I to Tam Dao II has a length of 9,159 km, designed speed of 15 km/h, occupies 7.3 ha of Tam Dao National Park. The implementation of the process of clearing the ground clearance, material gathering, rock blasting; Construction of road foundation, sluices, sewers, etc. will cause a number of problems for the ecosystems of the forest, such as: reduction of land cover, loss of safety due to blasting - rock splitting, habitat fragmentation; Changes in habitat quality due to the generation of emissions, wastewater and waste. The article analyzes in detail the impacts of the road construction process and makes recommendations to protect the biodiversity of the Tam Dao National Park and the region, to support the harmonious development of transport and tourism and environment.
