DIVERSITY OF ASTERACEAE MEDICINAL PLANTS IN MY HIEP COMMUNE, CAO LANH DISTRICT, DONG THAP PROVINCE

Abstract


The study was conducted to evaluate diversity of Asteraceae medicinal plants belonging to Magnoliopsida, Magnoliophyta in My Hiep Commune, Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Provine through field surveys and collect sampling plants. The results were 29 medicinal plant species in 24 genera of the Asteraceae. There are 4 groups life-forms recorded Asteraceae medicinal plants such as Phanerophytes, Chamaephytes, Hemicryptophytes, Therophytes with life-forms spectrum BS = 51,72 Ph + 6,90 Ch + 24,14 Hm + 17,24 Th. There are 6 medicinal plants parts used to prevent and treat 25 groups of disease. In addition to its medicinal uses, it also has other uses such as essential oils, vegetables, ornamentals, green manure and soil protection against erosion. The article plays important scientific and practical significance.
