Abstract

The oscillation of the strands attached at both ends and of the bound membrane was simulated and analyzed using the Wolfram Mathematica (WM) software. The results show that animations in simulation performed through the WM program code can help the learner to easily observe and understand the physical meaning of the problem. The simulation results also show the applicability of WM in research and teaching.
