Abstract


The prevalence and infection intensity of tick disease in dogs in the localities in Thai Nguyen city were different and increasedaccordingto age of dogs. Dogs were raised in winter and autumn infected with ticks higher than these inspring and summer. There was 90.34% of dogs infected with ticks had mainly clinical syntoms as follows: weakness, pale mucosa, furry, itching, clenching, licking parasites. The infecteddogs decreased number of red blood cells, the number of white blood cells increased,the number of lymphocytes and monocytes was significantly decreased, the rate of eosinophil increased markedly in comparison with healthy dogs.
