HOW TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY-BASED TOURISM IN ANG 2 VILLAGE, DONG SANG COMMUNE, MOC CHAU DISTRICT, SON LA PROVINCE

Abstract

Tourism is considered as a key leading economic sector, and brings benefits to many countries in the world and in Vietnam. Besides the development of  some types of tourism such as leisure tourism, adventure tourism and cultural tourism, v.v. community-based tourism is also researched, selected and developed. In recent years, to develop sustainable tourism in association with conservation and promotion the natural and cultural beauty in Moc Chau district, Son La province has invested in some ethnic villages,  including Ang 2 village. Moreover, this commune has become the destination of both domesticl and international tourists for its Northwest lanscape and the unique culture of Thai ethnic, which contributes to preserving and promoting traditional culture. In the framework of the article, the group of authors generalized current potentials and development situations of Ang 2 village. The rational exploitation will  meet the demands of domestic and international tourists during the integration.
