SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF TRANING FOR LECTURERS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION INNOVATION AND THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Abstract

The impact of the 4.0 industrial revolution to the education sector is highly significant. It also creates opportunities, but also poses numerous challenges for educational institutions, especially higher education institutions. To survive and futher develop, higher education institutions need to change the management methods, develop curriculums or training programs, invest in facilities, and improve the quality of teachers. In order to meet the requirements of training in context of the 4^th industrial revolution, lecturers are required to equip with new capacities, creativity and continous improvement of their own qualifications. At the same time, lecturers need to enhance their professional knowledge, research and teaching methodology. What are the difficulties and challenges that the training for lecturers to meet the requirements of the new era? What are the causes and specific solutions? Base on using the synthesis, statistics, comparison and alalysis methods on the data of training and retraining in a higher education institution in recent years, the answers can be found in this research. The information can be used as reference for other higher education institutions.
