DOMESTIC SOLID WASTE IVENTORING AND ASSESSMENT OF MANAGEMENT IN VU QUANG DISTRICT, HA TINH PROVINCE

Abstract


The purpose of this study are propose the solutions and evaluate the arise of daily life solid waste evaluate in Vu Quang district; evaluate the current situation of waste collection, transportation and treatment of daily life solid waste in Vu Quang district in the period of 2018-2021. The research methodology are collecting information, field visit, sociological investigation and data analysis. Every day, there are more than 12 tons of daily life waste in this district (the average amount is 0.38-0.69kg/person/day). The average amount is 5.000 tons/year. The collection and treatment of daily life solid waste in the collecting areas and landfills is 6.49 tons/per day (55%); the remaining waste is 5.31 tons (45%) is on site processing and used as organic fertilizer. Currently, the waste treatment facilities is not enough to meet the demand in this district. Propose the solutions: information and communication, planning, management of collection, transportation, treatment, enhacing of checking and monitoring; consolidating the  environment cooperatives more effective, give out the policies to support and provide equipment, tools to environment cooperatives for waste collecting.
