Abstract

This paper analyzes the current situation in accessing digital banking services of community-based tourism household-owned businesses in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. Descriptive statistics and a Likert scale with data collected from direct interviews with business households were applied. The results show that up to 90% of households use smart mobile devices such as desktop computers, laptops, smart mobile phones with Internet connections. However, they directly apply for credit at the bank's headquarters for loans. Cashless payment is commonly made to domestic tourists but is limited to foreign visitors. Credit and bank accounts play an important role in promoting the development of community tourism. To increase access to digital banking services, convenience services, information security, and service capacity of customers play a crucial role. In addition, the legal framework for the development of digital banking services should aim to ensure the security and safety of information and customer data.
