Abstract

The article evaluates the quality of life of 88 outpatients with spondylosis at Vinmec Times City International Hospital in 2021. The study used a cross-sectional descriptive research method. The EQ-5D-5L scale is used to assess quality of life and the Barthel index is used to describe the degree of independence in life. The results showed that the percentage of subjects able to be independent in daily life increased from 40.9% (before treatment) to 100% after treatment. The quality of life of study subjects before treatment was only 0.59 ± 0.101 points, after treatment increased to 0.97 ± 0.054 points, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.001). Conclusion: The quality of life of patients with spondylosis treated as outpatients at Vinmec Times City International Hospital has a positive change after treatment. The difference was statistically significant with p<0.05.
