THE STATUS OF PRIMARY HEALTH CARE IN YEN DUNG DISTRICT, BAC GIANG PROVINCE IN 2015

Abstract

Objectives: Evaluate the results of primary health care activities in Yen dung district, Bac Giang province in 2015. Research subjects: households head in the communes of Yen Dung district; file records kept at the districthealth center and commune health stations. Research methods: Cross-sectional descriptive research. Results and conclusion: percentage of households havehygienic water sources wasvery high (97.2%); which have hygienic toilets washigh (92.0%); which havehygienic bathroomwasvery high (96.3%). Percentage of birth at health facility was very high (99.4%); percentage of three or more antenatal visits was high 92.8%; newborn birth weight ≥ 2,500 grams was high (90.4%); percentage of children vaccinated and with scarring wasvery high (100%). The rate of children is 100%; The proportion of couples applying contraception is high (90.9%); the average number of children is 1.98 ± 0.59. The percentage of households with barns far from home low (76.2%); percentage of children eating <6 months was high (63.5%); The rate of weaning <18 months is quite high (22.4%).
