ASSESSMENT OF THE RESULTS OF INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION IN THE CENTER OF PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS AT HOSPITAL OF THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

Objectives: To describe the clinical and subclinical characteristics of infertile couples treated by the IUI method at the Thai Nguyen and HCMC obstetrics and gynecology clinics and to comment on a number of factors related to the outcome of IUI method. Subjects: 43 infertile couples were assigned to the IUI treatment. Study method: Cross- sectional study. Results: Successful rate was 41.8%, clinical pregnancy rate (32.5%); Biochemical pregnancy (9.3%); Indications of weak spermatozoa accounted for the highest rate (65.1%); 100% use follicle stimulant; 72.1% had follicular size ≥20 mm; uterine lining thickness ≥ 8mm, accounted for 79.1%; Spermatozoon pre-filter characteristics: mean volume: 3.16 ± 0.97; average density: 25.77 ± 15.2; average type A sperm: 13.42 ± 8.1. Pregnancy rates was not related to wife age, infertility, maturation number, sperm concentration before dialysis; It was related to the time of infertility of the oviduct size, the image of the uterine lining and the rate of sperm type A.
