Abstract

Tourism plays an important role in socio-economic development at all levels, countries. However, the development of tourism contains many threats to the living environment, water quality, life, culture, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to build a sustainable tourism development orientation and determine which factors affect the sustainable tourism development. This study aims to find a research model, determine the factors affecting sustainable tourism development in Nghe An, and analyze the influence of the factors on sustainable tourism development in Nghe An. Using multivariable regression analysis method from data of 191 tourists and managers in Nghe An, the results show that there are 5 factors affecting sustainable tourism development in Nghe An, which are arranged in the following order: Infrastructure facilities; Tourism service quality; Community involvement; Tourism human resources; Tourism resources. This study is the basis to help local managers find and come up with solutions for sustainable tourism development in Nghe An.
