Abstract

This study aims to design teaching process of topic  “Electrical hazards and precautions” in Biophysical subject to develop students’ solving problem competency for Medical students at Hai Duong Medical Technical University. Theoretical basis analysis method is used to design the teaching process and assessment toolkit. Using the pedagogical experimental method, the study collected, compared, analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively the results before and after the impact of the teaching process on the surveyed subjects. The results show that the organization of project teaching with the topic can foster students' problem-solving ability. Students not only discover knowledge of the topic but actively participate in teaching activities, revealing behavioral index levels of problem-solving ability. From the above results, the study proposes to apply the teaching process and assessment toolkit in teaching some other relevant knowledge of biophysics for university students.
