A NEW STUDY ON TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM IN SURFACE GRINDING

Abstract

In grinding process as well as surface grinding, the temperature at the grinding surface greatly affects on the quality of the machined surface. Therefore, measurement of the grinding temperature is very necessary. It is also fundamentalist for giving solutions for control the grinding temperature. This paper presents a new study on design and manufacturing of a heat measurement system in surface grinding. This system is designed to continuously measure the temperature at the grinding surface in surface grinding. The measured results are displayed via software which shows the evolution of the thermal process over time and it is stored on the computer.
