SOME SOLUTION RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING OCOP PROGRAM IN TUYEN QUANG PROVINCE

Abstract


After 4 years of implementation, the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in Tuyen Quang province has achieved remarkable achievements. Currently, Tuyen Quang province is ranked the 4th in the northern mountainous region. This study aims to evaluate the results of the OCOP program in the period of 2019-2022, and to determine some shortcomings and causes, as well as to indicate important lessons during the implementation of the OCOP program in Tuyen Quang province. Beside the analysis of secondary data, the primary data were collected from 3 groups involved directly in the program, including program managers, consultants, and OCOP subjects. The survey’s content focused on the satisfaction of the subjects with some activities of the OCOP program. The results showed the real situation, achievements, limitations and lessons of OCOP program.The study also proposed 8 solutions to develop the OCOP program in Tuyen Quang province in the future.
