Abstract

Of all Ho Chi Minh’s writings mentioning about the study of theoretics, “The orientation speech at the opening ceremony of the first theoretics class at Nguyen Ai Quoc Institute” can be considered as one of the most significant. Over 60 years, his words are still valuable in this field. Through the speech, he wanted to express the desire, mission also his orientation to the organizers, teachers of the politics classes, as well as the researchers and learners of Theoretics. The speech was also the instruction to his comrades on how to study the theoretics scientifically and to figure out the motives and attitudes to study. In the period of transitioning to Socialism within the global complex happenings, it is indispensable to reconsider his words on the study of theoretics.
