Abstract


Chinese has been popular in Vietnam for a long time and the number of Chinese learners comes at 2nd place after that of English learners. Research and study on teaching Chinese in universities are getting a lot of efforts and strong development. In recent years, infornation technology has been rapidly rising due to the fact that it can be applied for every fields and Chinese teaching is not an exception.

How  is the application of information technology especially multimedia into teaching Chinese going on? what is its efficiency and what are the bad points? Those questions is getting more and more controversial.  The researcher conducted a survey in applying multimedia tools into teaching Elementary Chinese level in School of Foreign Languages – Thai Nguyen University, analyzed the result of the survey to get summaries, notices, basic principles in applying multimedia into teaching to get the most efficiency!
