DESIGN OF A SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING, MONITORING AND ACQUIRING THE DATA OF THE ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION STATIONS

Abstract


In electric transmission, transformer stations play an important role, and influence to the quality and efficiency of the transmission. Nowadays, the technical data and information are transfered to the transformer stations by traditional methods like reports or hard coppies, therefore it is not convinient, and it requires operators working 24/7. Based on these issues, this paper proposes to design a SCADA system for acquiring and monitoring data automatically. The SCADA system will monitoring the states, and operating parameters of the devices in transformer stations, based on that operators can work efficiently, fastly, and safely. This proposed solution is firstly designed theoritically, and then demonstrated via experimental setup.
