Abstract

Along with Vietnam's general trend in the innovation process, Binh Lieu district's economy is increasingly developing strongly in a modern direction, contributing to promoting the continuous political, cultural and social development of a mountainous locality of Quang Ninh province. The economic structure of Binh Lieu district has changed positively such as increasing the proportion of industry - construction and service industries, reducing the proportion of agriculture. On that basis, Binh Lieu has formed an economic structure of agriculture - forestry - fishery - handicrafts - industry - services to promote the local potential and advantages. Through the use of historical and logical methods, document research and field research, this article analyzes the process of restructuring the economic sector of Binh Lieu district, Quang Ninh province from 1996 to 2022. The success of the economic restructuring process shows the Party's correct policies and the efforts of the government and people of all ethnic groups in Binh Lieu district, Quang Ninh province.
