Abstract


Applying digital technology is inevitable trend of current education systems around the world.This is also a very necessary skill for teachers in the 4.0 technology era and can be considered the key to innovation and improvement quality of education. In the teaching and learning process, testing and assessing is a very important activity, helping to assess competence and determine the level of student achievement of educational goals. Based on an overview of educational innovation perspectives related to the application of digital technology in testing and assessing teaching results; the article focuses on analyzing and clarifying the role and reality of applying digital technology in testing and assessing Geography subjects in high schools. The article uses the method of researching documents from many different reliable sources and especially uses investigation and survey methods to increase the scientificity and persuasiveness of the research content. In recent times, the application of digital technology in testing and assessing Geography has achieved many important results to help improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching activities; However, there are still certain limitations in this activity that need to be overcome in the near future with drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions.
