Abstract


STEAM education is gradually becoming one of the modern educational methods, with important implications for the development of children around the world, including Vietnamese children. At preschools in Lao Cai city, STEAM education has been implemented in different approaches towards the goal of comprehensive development for children. Particular focus is placed on helping kids develop their creative skills. The study's main objective is to assess how STEAM education is now being used in the learning activities of 4 to 5-year-old students at a few Lao Cai city preschools. The study included a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to survey 39 preschool teachers and 18 administrators who have been teaching kindergarten courses for children ages 4 and 5. The study's findings accurately depict the state of STEAM education for kindergarten students aged 4 to 5 at certain preschools in Lao Cai city.
