Xóa đói giảm nghèo là một chính sách lớn của Đảng và Nhà nước nhằm thu hẹp khoảng cách giàu nghèo, đặc biệt tại các khu vực biên giới nơi có nhiều đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số sinh sống trong điều kiện kinh tế xã hội khó khăn. Bộ đội biên phòng, với nhiệm vụ bảo vệ an ninh biên giới, đã đóng góp tích cực vào các chương trình giảm nghèo cho người dân tại tỉnh Bình Phước. Nghiên cứu này tập trung phân tích các chương trình và dự án giảm nghèo mà bộ đội biên phòng triển khai, thông qua việc thu thập dữ liệu thực địa và phỏng vấn các cán bộ, người dân địa phương. Kết quả cho thấy nhiều chương trình đã đạt được thành công, như hỗ trợ sinh kế, hướng dẫn canh tác, xây dựng nhà ở và cung cấp dịch vụ y tế, góp phần cải thiện đời sống của người dân tộc thiểu số. Tuy nhiên, vẫn còn những hạn chế như thiếu nguồn lực tài chính và khó khăn trong việc tiếp cận các dịch vụ cơ bản. Bài viết đã làm sáng tỏ vai trò quan trọng của bộ đội biên phòng trong giảm nghèo bền vững tại biên giới và đề xuất một số giải pháp để nâng cao hiệu quả chính sách, bao gồm tăng cường đầu tư hạ tầng, đào tạo nhân lực và phối hợp giữa các cơ quan chức năng.
