Nghiên cứu này sử dụng Lý thuyết Hành vi Kế hoạch để xác định các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến ý định lựa chọn công việc của sinh viên ngành du lịch. Mục tiêu là đánh giá tác động của thái độ công việc, chuẩn mực chủ quan, kiểm soát hành vi cảm nhận, công nghệ số và yếu tố cá nhân lên quyết định nghề nghiệp. Phương pháp PLS-SEM được áp dụng trên dữ liệu từ sinh viên ngành du lịch để đo lường mức độ ảnh hưởng qua hệ số đường dẫn và R². Kết quả chỉ ra rằng thái độ tích cực với nghề, cảm giác kiểm soát hành vi và yếu tố cá nhân có tác động mạnh đến ý định nghề nghiệp, với R² = 0,637, mô hình giải thích 63,6% phương sai. Ngược lại, chuẩn mực chủ quan và công nghệ số không có ảnh hưởng đáng kể. Nghiên cứu cho thấy sinh viên ngành du lịch quyết định nghề nghiệp chủ yếu dựa vào động lực và đánh giá cá nhân, ít bị ảnh hưởng bởi yếu tố xã hội hay công nghệ. Các nhà giáo dục nên tập trung vào phát triển kỹ năng tự chủ và khai thác động lực cá nhân của sinh viên, đồng thời xem công nghệ như công cụ hỗ trợ nghề nghiệp. Hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo nên mở rộng mẫu khảo sát, bổ sung yếu tố bối cảnh và kết hợp phương pháp định tính để làm phong phú kết quả và khắc phục hạn chế của dữ liệu tự báo cáo.
