Tóm tắt
Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là tìm hiểu những yếu tố thúc đẩy và sự thay đổi chiến lược sinh kế của người Cơ - tu ở khu vực biên giới của hai huyện Tây Giang và Nam Giang thuộc tỉnh Quảng Nam. Để đạt được mục đích, chúng tôi quan sát thực địa, phỏng vấn sâu kết hợp với phương pháp định lượng, xử lý thông tin, số liệu. Kết quả cho thấy, sự suy giảm nguồn tài nguyên, đặc biệt diện tích đất canh tác, chính sách hỗ trợ phát triển kinh tế của Nhà nước và những thay đổi văn hóa xã hội đã thúc đẩy người Cơ - tu lựa chọn chiến lược sinh kế mới. Họ lựa chọn cây trồng phù hợp với điều kiện tự nhiên, tri thức dân gian tộc người và mở rộng quy mô chăn nuôi theo hướng thị trường kết hợp áp dụng khoa học kỹ thuật. Đồng thời, lực lượng lao động trẻ đang dịch chuyển theo hướng phi nông nghiệp. Những thay đổi này thể hiện tư duy kinh tế của người Cơ - tu bắt đầu thay đổi, từng bước thích ứng với xã hội hiện đại, nâng cao mức sống.
