Abstract

The article presents research results on developing an experimental kit for students to experience and study the principles of electromagnets and electric motors according to the general education program in Laos. Based on the study of the educational programs in Laos and Vietnam, theoretical foundations, and practical foundations for the development of teaching equipment followed by laboratory tests, the research proposed a construction process for the kit and conducted experiments to evaluate its feasibility in implementing STEM Education in Laos. Based on the proposed process, we have successfully built a kit that facilitates the execution of five experiments that meet the content and requirements of the primary education curriculum in Laos. We utilized the developed kit to organize STEM experiential activities in schools in Laos. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the kit and the feasibility of implementing STEM education.
