This study was conducted during January - May 2018, aiming to determine the best growing substrate composition for the experimental rose Bishop’s Castle in Thai Nguyen province. Parameters for measurement were adapted from the National Technical Regulation ‘QCVN 01-95:2012’ of the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, and Pham Dinh Thuy (2012). As a result, treatment 3 (33% rice husk ash + 33% decomposed muck + 33% alluvial soil + 1% NPK (15:15:15) showed the highest effectiveness with regards to growth and flower quality parameters.
