WATER POLLUTION RESEARCH DUE TO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND GRAZING LIVESTOCK INDISCRIMINATELY BY THE PEOPLES LOCALE IN THE TA VAI STREAM, HA GIANG PROVINCE

Water pollution in the environment is receiving a lot of attention from the community and society. It is of particular interest in the uplands in the uplands of the North West in general and in the basin of the Ta Vai stream in Ha Giang Province. The use of live water directly from rivers and streams without treatment systems is a problem to be solved. This research focuses on the pollution assessment of water Ta Vai stream in Ha Giang province due to indigenous people local’s agricultural practices and cattle grazing. The research shows that the mineral water has signs of bio-pollution, average COD was 22.0 mg/l over the QCVN 08-2015/BTNMT, the total N and P content in the water samples were also high, some monitoring points have signs of metal pollution, that need to be treated before being used for drinking water. This research also proposes measures to treat the water purification by technologies such as UF membrane filter, vertical filter, water quality assurance in A QCVN 08-MT: 2015 / BTNMT before use.
