Abstract

In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and deep international integration, critical thinking has become an essential skill, especially for students of Political Education - who will take on a key role in teaching and researching political theory. This study proposes a breakthrough solution to develop critical thinking for students of the Faculty of Political Education, University of Education - Thai Nguyen University, through a method of combining theoretical research and practical survey, in which practical research includes a questionnaire survey of 77 students at the Faculty of Political Education. The collected data was processed using statistical methods combined with content analysis, creating a comprehensive picture of the current situation, pointing out remarkable achievements as well as existing limitations in developing students' critical thinking. Based on multidimensional analysis, the study proposes three key groups of solutions for schools, lecturers and students, emphasizing comprehensive innovation from training programs to learning environments. The research results not only improve the training quality at the faculty but also contribute to training high-quality human resources with the ability to think independently, creatively and critically, meeting the requirements of national development in the digital age.
