Abstract

The research focused on determining, analyzing and evaluating 5 natural elements which impact on agricultural land in Quyet Thang commune, Thái Nguyên city such as: soils, type of soil structures, deep levels, slop levels, irrigation condition levels. Those elements were selected which ware highly representative for nature ones in real terms of research area. On the basis of the synthesis and evaluation of each factor, the research has identified each level and division according to FAO and the current criteria for classification of specific land characteristics. Expression in detail: there are 3 kinds of soil, 2 type of soil structures (TPCG), 3 levels of soil deep, 3 levels of slop and 2 levels of irrigation condition. Application of GIS software, the research showed 23 LMU with total area is 1153,97ha and 5 natural elements. The results of this research will be the scientific basis for the appropriate classification of land in the whole commune so as to propose effective and sustainable use of land for further research.
