MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF Ascaridia galli AND THE EGGS DEVELOPMENT IN DISTILL WATER

For hundred and ninty five chickens from 6 districts in Me Linh, Ha Noi were post mortal examinated, it has been shown that 47.88% chickens infected with roundworm with different intensity. The majority were infected in light and mild intensity (<30 worms/bird), there was only 10.55% chickens were severely infected (<60 worms/bird).
Worms collected from chicken’s intestine were measure in length, photographed by microscopy and then classified after Roy C. Anderson et al. (2009), 100% of collected worms were identified as Ascaridia galliwith the following comon morphological characteristics: bigger size, ivory color, epidermal with clear srtip; 3 lips mouth, each formed teeth plate.
Roundworm’s eggs were collected by dissection of the mature female worms and then incubated at 25 – 31 degree centigrate, after 16.33± 1.2 days, eggs were developed with larve content for the potential infection.
