Abstract


Genital inflammation is the most common condition among women of reproductive age. The study aimed to describe the current state of knowledge about gentital inflamation among female nursing students at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The study was conducted on 216 femal nursing students with a descriptive method and cross-sectional design. The study subjects were surveyed using self-administered questionnaires designed to suit the study. Data were entered using Excel software and processed using SPSS 23.0 software. The research results show that over 80% of female nursing students knew about the cause, symptoms, and prevention of genital inflammation. The level of knowledge regarding genital inflammation was quite good at 79.6%; of which the first-year students had the lowest level of knowledge at 39.7%, the third and fourth-year students had a higher level of knowledge at 100%.
