THE PRIVATE ECONOMY IN THE SOCIALIST MAKET ECONOMY IN VIETNAM TODAY

Abstract

After more than 30 years of renovation, the private economy in Vietnam has been constantly developing, making a valuable contribution to the country's renovation and socio-economic development. However, compared to the requirements of the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization associated with the development of knowledge economy and international economic integration, the private economy in the country also reveals some limitations. In order to study the private economy thorougly, besides generalizing the process of innovation of the Party's thinking about the private economy, the author focused on assessing the status of the private economy in recent years. Since then, several initial solutions are proposed to overcome the limitations so that the private economy really becomes the driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam today.
