Abstract

The XII Congress of the Party (2016) has a new development in the awareness and ideology of sustainable development, in which the sustainable development of economic regions is identified as a priority. Prominent among them is the Central region, a region with a strategic geo-economic location, playing an important role in the country's development process. This study was carried out to show the current situation of sustainable development of enterprises in the Central region over the past time. Based on preliminary data for the period 2016-2023 and traditional analysis methods such as descriptive statistics, comparison, etc., the current operation of the business sector in the Central region has made important contributions to two of the three pillars of sustainable development: economy and society of the region. On the basis of the Party's policy and the current situation of sustainable development of the business sector in the Central region, the article proposes a number of specific recommendations to promote synchronous solutions, towards the goal of comprehensive sustainable development of the region in the future. This research contributes to helping management agencies at all levels and businesses have the right solutions for the sustainable development of enterprises in the Central region in the coming time.
