Thai Nguyen is a province with many minerals in terms of reserves. Underground water in the province is many rich, used in many activities of indigenous people. In this area, many water sources of monitoring points are contaminated with iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), hard water. In areas far from the city center, people's water supply is mainly water from dug wells and well water. The research was conducted to evaluate and improve the efficiency of well water treatment by combining oxidation and adsorption with some materials in the market such as activated carbon. By empirical method, the study was conducted with 02 experimental methods, 3 materials, 4 formulas and 3 flow rates. Research results show that formula 4 (combination of oxygen and adsorbent) has the highest efficiency of processing iron, manganese, zinc, 84,2 – 97,8%; effective after 5 hours; the optimal flow is Q5 (0.005 liters / second) and the parameters are much lower than that of untreated water and National Technical Regulation (QCVN) ) 01:2009/BYT. Ensure well water quality after treatment for food and daily life.
