ASSESSING ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA IMPLEMENTATION IN NEW RURAL CONSTRUCTION IN AN TUONG COMMUNE, VINH TUONG DISTRICT, VINH PHUC PROVINCE

Abstract

The report showed that, 98% of households used bore well water, 44,07% of households used filtered water by filter-bed or mechanical filter and drain ditch systerm has not finished yet. Specially, the open sewer was still used. Breeding waste was treatmented by biogas. However, Breeding waste was still used directly to irrigate for plant and feed fish. The environmental contamination by solid wastes presents serious problem that badly needs solution by local governments. Now, the commune has only insanitary landfill and all cemetery of commune has not the yard, fencing wall and  treating waste area.
