MODEL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES COMMUNITY TOURISM ASSOCIATED WITH NEW CONSTRUCTION IN RURAL AREAS IN TAN CUONG, THAI NGUYEN CITY

Abstract

Community tourism is sustainable tourism, bring economic benefits for local communities, protect the environment, provide visitors a new experience and contribute to the implementation of the objective of socio-economic development at the local level. The purpose of the Community tourism activities is enabling all members of the community are engaged in active tourism, create jobs, improve income, improving material and spiritual life of the local community to poverty alleviation, and participating in the conservation of , preserving the cultural values and the natural landscape of the region. Furthermore, community tourism is tourism based on the people, the people responsible decision-making, enforcement and operates the project for development of local tourism. The tea area in Tan Cuong is located in the program to build pilot model community tourist village at the "Tea area in Tan Cuong" tied to new rural construction model under urban partnership program and the economic development between the city of Thai Nguyen with Victoria-Canada, by 2012. So far, tourism activities in the area of the town has many tea area positive changes in important contribution to the building of new countryside.
