THE IMPACT OF WATER REGIMES, WEEDING METHODS TO ROOT, GROWTH AND YIELD OF THE RICE (KD18)

Observing the growth of rice in different water conditions and weeding methods was conducted in Spring rice season in 2015 at Hoa Binh, Xuan Phuong, Phu Binh, Thai Nguyen. The experiment was conducted with the Khang Dan 18 rice variety using 2 separate watering regimes; one of which involved (1) and alternatively of 4days, weeding methods are use by hand, traditional hoe and inovation hoe. Results indicated that watering scheme and weeding methods had a substantial effect on the normal growth of the rice in terms of cluster, height, leaves, roots and yield. The root system of the rice interferes its growth. Roots, stem and leaves of the rice which had more watering proved more abundant and healthier. With short watering alternatively and weeding method using inovation hoe rice grew better and produce higher yield.
