DEVELOPING THE WINTER CROP PRODUCTION IN THAI BINH PROVINCE

Abstract

The winter crops increasingly play an important role in efficient use of resources in the agricultural production of Thai Binh province, contributing to create jobs and increase income for rural labors. Development of winter crop in Thai Binh province has achieved significant results at all aspects: acreage, production forms, infrastructure, resources, production, cultivation techniques, consumption, links and socio-economic, and environmental efficiency. Besides, there are many challenges related to the stability of consumption, productive resources, cooperation and links in production and consumption. This study aims to assess the development stautus of winter crop in Thai Binh province, which proposes some main measures to strengthen winter crop development in the study area.
