CLONING AND SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF ITS-rDNA REGION IN FUNGAL STRAIN FOR THE BIOLOGICAL DEGRADATION OF CELLULOSE

Abstract


In this study, we described the result of cloning and sequencing analysis of the ITS-rDNA region in fungal strain for the biological degradation of cellulose. The ITS-rDNA region of NDVN01 strain was isolated by PCR reaction and cloned into the vector pJET1.2/blunt for nucleotide sequencing. The sequence analysis result has showed that the sequence of the ITS-rDNA region of NDVN01 strain has 808 bp and high homology to those of some representatives of the basidiomycetes genus Peniophora (92,1-99,3%). Among them, it has the highest homology with that of Peniophora sp. M104-3B strain (accession number HM595565). The ITS-rDNA region of the NDVN01 strain was deposited in GenBank with accession number JX987096. The NDVN01 strain was named Peniophora sp. NDVN01.
