Abstract


Teaching staff is an important factor in the implementation of the political mission of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Therefore, the training and enhancing teachers in terms of quantity as well as quality making sure to meet the task requirements in the new period are always the long-term and regular tasks of the university. The study assesses the status of training and enhancing of lecturers at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University. Research method: descriptive and cross-sectional study. Research results: Assessing the status and satisfaction of lecturers for the training and enhancing teachers of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University. Based on the results, the authors are giving proposal of a number of solutions to improve the quality of teaching staff such as: developing spearhead and specialized fields in the university's development orientation; constantly improving the regimes and policies for lecturers to do post-graduate training; boosting international cooperation.
