EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF AGRICULTURAL LAND USE IN THREE COMMUNITY POINTS TO COMPLETE THE WASTE OF PHU BINH DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract

Phu Binh is a midland district, located in the south of Thai Nguyen province, 26 km from the center of Thai Nguyen city. The total natural land area of the district is 249.36 km². Population is about 146,086 people; population density is 586 people/km². Agricultural land area is 20,402.60 ha, accounting for 83.8% of the natural area. Through the research on the current status and efficiency of agricultural land use in Phu Binh district, it is determined that the whole district has 4 types of land use, including: 2 rices; 2 rices-1 winter season; 1 rice-2winter season; winter season only. Through the evaluation of the effectiveness of the types of land use, we propose 2 types of land use most suitable for Phu Binh district are proposed as follows: 1 rice with 1 winter season and winter season only. These two types of land use achieve the highest efficientcy in term of  economic, social, and environmental as well as suitable with local conditions.
