Abstract


The experiment was carried out on 420 Minh Du broiler chicken from 3 to 16 age weeks to evaluate the effect of garlic powder rate in ration to growth capacity and meat quality. The experiment was divided into 4 treatments: Control Group (no garlic powder addition), Experimental Group 1, 2 and 3 with adding 0,2, 0,4 and 0,6% garlic powder, respectively. The experiment was used 35 chicks per each group and 3 replications. The results showed that increased body weight of Minh Du broiler chicken in experimental groups was higher than control goup (P<0,05). The feed conversion and belly fat rate is low. The checken meat quality is improved in ration with adding garlic powder.
