Abstract
Evaluation was carried out on growth, development and yield of four melon varieties, including two Honeydew melons and two Golden honeydew melons in Bat Xat districts, Lao Cai povince in 2017 spring – summer season. The results show that all of varieties have morphological characteristics as diameter of fruit, weight of fruit, colour of fruit of skin meeting the consumers’s preference. These varieties show good growth potential, high pest resistance, yield of 20.0 to 35.2 tons/ha.
